Carolyn Bess, BSN'69, MSN'71 , of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away November 20, 2019. She retired from VUSN in 2014 and was named associate professor emerita.

Laura Gerow Bramlette, BSN'69 , of Houston, passed away November 25, 2017.

Sandy Jones Campbell, BSN'69, retired and lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida (2019).

Charlotte Mathias Covington, BSN'69, MSN'89, is associate professor emerita at VUSN (2022).

Barbara Callander Davis, BSN'69 , of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2020.

Dorothy Hinsch Gaskin, MSN'69 , of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away June 2, 2021.

Pat Hickman, BSN'69, is acting operations manager of ITNMemphis, a nonprofit in Tennessee that provides rides to seniors and people who are visually impaired (2016).  

Ann Keidel, BSN'69 , of West Newton, Massachusetts, passed away July 4, 2016. 

Judy Jackson Lea, BSN'69, was the focus of an April 2018 story in The Wilson Post (Tennessee) about her life and family.

Ellen Martin, BSN'69, received the Dorothea M. Lang Pioneer Award from the American College of Nurse Midwives in May 2019.

Susan Applegarth Murphy, BSN'69, is a keynote speaker, author and business consultant living in Rancho Mirage, California (2017).
