Dorothy Silvis Guidry, BSN’62 , of The Villages, Florida, passed away September 9, 2018.

Carol Bruno Komara, BSN’62, was quoted in Kentucky Health News in May 2022 regarding her efforts to address the nursing shortage as a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association’s school nurse task force. 

Elizabeth Light, BSN’62 , of Buna, Texas, passed away September 5, 2022.

Nancy Gunnell Perry, N’62 , of Maryville, Tennessee, passed away June 27, 2022.

Carolyn Whitaker, BSN’62, MSN’72, was quoted in the Cookeville, Tennessee, Herald-Citizen in November 2016, for a story about nurse practitioners. In 2015, she received the Tennessee Nurses Association Lifetime Achievement Award. 

Barbara Fullerton Wood, BS’62 (Peabody) , of Moreno Valley, California, passed away January 30, 2022.

Toni Fasano Youngblood, BSN’62 , of Lakeland, Florida, passed away November 27, 2015.
