- Willingness to travel to rural areas
Application Process
- Application will open on September 1, 2023
- Deadline for Submission is September 29, 2023
- FNP, AGPCNP and CAP Faculty will review
- Participants will be notified by November 13, 2023
MTA Applicants
- Site will be assigned by CAP faculty
- Urban underserved and rural clinical partner sites
- Rural sites up to 150 miles outside of Nashville
- Sites may require an interview
OMTA Applicants
- Student secures site in preferred location
- Site must meet grant requirements
- Rural health or underserved populations
- Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), FQHC look-a-likes, community health clinics
- Request submitted to Exxat by application deadline (September 29)
- Acceptance is contingent on signed affiliation agreement between site and VUSN
