Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion is one of the core values at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, It is embedded in our purpose, mission and vision, as well as in our values. The 2020-21 academic year saw renewed and expanded efforts by the school and its students, faculty, staff, post-doctoral fellows and administration.

Those efforts stem from the school’s multidimensional EDI strategic plan that has strengthening the cultural climate through recruitment, retention and inclusivity as its overall goal.
