VUSN Scholarly Nurse - Fall 2014

Welcome to Scholarly Nurse

Welcome to this latest installment of Scholarly Nurse that highlights Vanderbilt University School of Nursing’s faculty research and scholarly activities from the spring and summer 2014 semesters. We believe that science and evidence are the foundation of everything we do in health care and teaching, and as you will see, our faculty have been busy advancing a wide variety of impact-making topics.

In this issue, we feature the our recent National Institute of Health/National Institute of Nursing Research grant – a four year project in partnership with the Palliative Care Research Cooperative. Additionally, we share our inaugural group of Clinical Scholarship Program projects to develop innovative and sustained clinical services and support non-tenure track faculty.

I hope you enjoy this issue and that you will share it with your colleagues.
