Recognized as a pioneer in multimedia development in nursing. She is internationally known for her leadership in nursing informatics as well as emergency planning and response. She has provided the vision for the School in nursing informatics since 2000, providing for the preparation of informatics-savvy graduates. Educational innovation such as the clinical log, integration of simulations into the curricula, the use of Blackboard, and online testing and evaluation barely touch the many activities she has implemented and supported to maintain a state-of-the-art program at the School. Her passion, leadership and dedication has moved the School to a major informatics leader in the world.
