Distinguished Faculty
Recognized as a pioneer in Nurse-Midwifery, starting two Nurse-Midwifery Programs at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and the University of Michigan. She provides education leadership training as an expert grant writer and has created a template used successfully by programs internal and external to the School. She is considered an expert in the accreditation process, and has served as an accreditation site visitor and Board of Review member of the American College of Nurse-Midwifery. She shepherds programs in nursing and nurse-midwifery through the processes of program planning, curriculum development, writing and organization of exhibits in preparation for visits.
