Recognized for her leadership role in developing Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at Vanderbilt School of Nursing. She has contributed nationally to the development of the AG-ACNP role through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioners. In addition, she has continued to practice at Vanderbilt Preanesthesia Clinic, as well as mentor students both clinically and in the didactic courses. She participated in the Bristol-Meyers Squibb Tour of Hope. She was chosen to ride across the country alongside cycling legend Lance Armstrong in the campaign to raise awareness about clinical trials and cancer research.
