Recognized for his tireless service of more than 12 years at the Vine Hill Community Clinic. He said that working at Vine Hill is his second job, because he joined the staff after serving 32 years as Chief of Medicine at the Veterans Hospital. He loves providing indigent care for those who are very ill, working with the nurse practitioners and mentoring students. He has vowed to continue at the clinic as long as he thinks he is useful.
