The Iota at-Large Chapter is one of many chapters of Sigma from around the world and includes Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia.  

Sigma is an international nursing honor society that develops leaders in the nursing profession by providing recognition, education, and global opportunities to the world’s top nurses.  Sigma’s international community of nurses is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, teaching, learning, and service through the cultivation of communities of practice, education, and research.  Some other Sigma benefits include leadership opportunities, networking, online classes, and funding for scholarship.  

Vanderbilt University School of Nursing faculty members and students are encouraged to explore the Sigma website (including the membership eligibility criteria) and consider becoming a member of the Iota at-Large Chapter.
