International Council of Nurses Opens Call for Abstracts for Spanish Language Presentations at 2026 ICN NP/APN Network Conference

The International Council of Nurses has opened a call for abstracts for Spanish language presentations for its 14th ICN Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse Network Conference to be held in the United States in 2026. The call for abstracts will be open from November 1–30, 2025.

ICN invites Spanish language abstracts that showcase innovation, evidence-based practice, policy advancements, and leadership strategies that contribute to the growth and impact of advanced practice nursing. Selected abstracts will be featured in oral presentations and poster sessions at the conference. Presentations from nursing experts and advanced practice nurses from Latin America are particularly requested.

The conference will be held September 14-17, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The ICN NP/APN Network Conference is the premier international gathering for advanced practice nursing leaders, educators, researchers, and practitioners. This event fosters global collaboration and knowledge-sharing to advance the role of advanced practice nursing worldwide.

The September 2026 event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ICN NP/APN Network, which was established to represent and support advanced practice nurses (APNs) from all global regions and facilitate communication around common professional interests.

ICN is a federation of over 140 national nurses’ associations representing more than 30 million nurses worldwide. Founded in 1899, it is the world’s first and widest reaching international organization of health professionals. The conference is hosted by Vanderbilt University School of Nursing (VUSN), with support from the American Nurses Association (ANA) and Vanderbilt University. One of the U.S.’s top graduate nursing schools, VUSN is known for excellence in research, practice, and nurse practitioner and nurse-midwifery education at the master and doctoral levels.

The American Nurses Association (ANA) is the premier organization representing the interests of the United States’ 4 million registered nurses. ANA is at the forefront of improving the quality of health care for all. Founded in 1896, and with members in all 50 states and U.S. territories, ANA is the strongest voice for the profession.
