Hamm currently serves as director of perioperative services and the clinic manager of adult urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She joined VUMC in 2002 as a research nurse and has progressed to roles including cardiac surgery nurse practitioner and nurse practitioner at The Vanderbilt Clinic and One Hundred Oaks clinics, then manager of the Vanderbilt Preoperative Evaluation Clinic and Interventional Pain Clinics. She is the current past president of the Tennessee Nurses Association.
Young serves as the nurse manager of the Hospital at Home program at VUMC, which he helped develop in 2021. His specialties include acute care medicine and cardiology, as well as leadership and management. He also serves as the secretary of the Tennessee Nurses Association’s Government Affairs Committee. He has been recognized as a 40-Under-40 Rising Star Nurse Leader by TAC, TNA and THA. He is also a current DNP student at VUSN.
Anness is the chief advocacy officer with Ascension Saint Thomas where she has held clinical and leadership roles for more than two decades. She is also the government relations and public policy officer for Ascension Saint Thomas and is responsible for federal, state and local health policy. She has practiced nursing in rural and inner-city health care settings and has coordinated various medical missions throughout North, Central and South America serving those most in need. A former VUSN faculty member, she helped establish the school’s Vine Hill Clinic in the ‘90s.
