All incoming students to Vanderbilt University School of Nursing’s fall 2020 Nursing and Health Care Leadership (NHCL) and Nursing Informatics (NI) programs will receive scholarships valued at 10% of their first year tuition. Returning NHCL and NI students will also receive 10% tuition scholarships for the 2020 academic year.
The two master of nursing science programs currently have spots available for admission in fall 2020.
Both specialties are geared for registered nurses with Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees; RNs with ASN/ADN/Diploma credentials are also welcome but will have additional coursework.
The two programs are offered part time to accommodate working RNs who want to continue working full time while earning master’s degrees. The curriculum uses a primarily on-line learning format that allows students to complete degree requirements without relocating or giving up employment. It incorporates a total of four on-campus interactive immersion experiences (3-day) including an orientation in August of the first year and periodically during the program of studies. Distance learning activities for the programs include online conferencing, video-streamed lectures and other technology-based events.
