Vanderbilt Emergency Nurse Practitioner students participated in the inaugural Emergency Medicine Day of Service this month by assisting at Project C.U.R.E., the largest provider of donated medical supplies and equipment to developing countries around the world. Project C.U.R.E helps to bridge the gap in health resources in the developing world, empowering doctors and nurses with the tools they need to treat disease, deliver vaccines, perform life-changing surgeries and ensure safe childbirth. The students helped sort and organize donated medical supplies that will be shipped to resource-limited communities across the globe.
