Post-Master’s Certificate Curriculum

This specialty can be completed as part of the Master of Science in Nursing, Post-Master’s Certificate and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs; each program has a unique curriculum plan. It is also available to VUSN PhD students.

PMC Curriculum Overview

The NE-PMC curriculum was developed using the NLN Nurse Educator Competencies, It is comprised of:

  • two core courses (3 credit hours each);
  • one elective (choose one of two elective course options, 3 credit hours each); and
  • one role synthesis course (3 credit hours).
