MSN Nurse-Midwifery Specialty Curriculum Overview
The Nurse-Midwifery specialty requires face-to-face coursework beginning in the first spring semester and gradually decreases the face-to-face time as the program progresses. Students take a mix of courses such as advanced health assessment, clinical reasoning, advanced physiology and pathophysiology, as well as specialty specific courses like gynecologic, reproductive and sexual health for nurse midwifery, reproductive anatomy and physiology, and postpartum and neonatal care.
Attention Students: Looking for clinical hours, lab hours, and more? They can be found in the curriculum plans section of the Student Handbook.
