The Academy for Diverse Emerging Nurse Leaders was developed to help new nursing faculty and new nurse leaders build the skills, gain the knowledge and build a network of colleagues and mentors to help them advance their careers and in turn, mentor other emerging nurse leaders.
Each class of the Academy for Diverse Emerging Nurse Leaders is deliberately small and inclusive so that Fellows will receive individualized attention and a cohesive, supportive experience.
If you are a nurse in a managerial/leadership role or in a faculty position, have three or less years’ experience in that role/position and you would like to be considered as a fellow, please apply here. Application deadline is to be announced.

Applicant Criteria
- A Master of Science in Nursing is preferred
- Serving in a leadership role less than 5 years
- Are committed to expanding and supporting diversity in nursing leadership
- Leadership support from your dean, chief nursing officer or direct supervisor
- Have identified a mentor at your institution or organization
