Students gain foundational knowledge of how the human body is built and functions, including how anatomy and physiology work together to achieve health and balance. Through virtual labs, interactive models and applied learning experiences, they learn to identify anatomical structures, interpret physiological functions and apply scientific concepts to human health.
Anatomy & Physiology I with lab provides a foundational study of the structure and function of the human body, emphasizing the relationship between anatomy, physiology, and homeostasis. Students will explore how the body is organized from the cellular level through tissues and organ systems, while developing an understanding of the interconnected processes that support movement, communication, protection, and regulation within the body. Through virtual lab activities, interactive models, and applied learning experiences, students will build skills in identifying anatomical structures, analyzing physiological functions, and applying scientific concepts to human health and performance.
