Advanced Systems Practice Track Curriculum

The Doctor of Nursing Practice program’s advanced systems practice track equips the master’s-prepared nurse in systems practice to become a leader in bringing evidence-based knowledge to the practice arena, guide complex health care delivery and improve health care outcomes.

The Advanced Systems Practice track has three entry options:

Applicants who enter the DNP Advanced Systems Practice track with a non-nursing master’s or MSN in nursing education may be awarded up to 500 clinical hours upon enrollment depending on portfolio review, prior MSN clinical hours (as applicable), systems practice experience, and national certification relevant to advanced systems practice.

  • Nursing Education Electives

For students in research or practice doctoral programs of study who wish to prepare for or enhance a career that involves nursing education, we offer multiple options for engagement based upon learner goals.  DNP students may enroll in one or multiple courses as electives, or add the full post master’s certificate to their plan of study.
