faculty profile

Mulubrhan Mogos   PhD, MSc, FAHA

Assistant Professor

Bio

My career research goal is to investigate the health effects of behavioral, biological and environmental risk factors on maternal cardiovascular health, and explore potential interventions that reduce cardiovascular disease risk among women. The long-term goal of my research program is to reduce adverse fetal-maternal outcomes and eliminate health disparity in pregnancies complicated by cardiovascular disease including hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. I have extensive experience in women's cardiovascular health, quantitative research methods, and the application of large databases for research in women's cardiovascular health.
