Bio
Judson Smith is an Instructor of Nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has over 15 years of nursing experience and over 5 years of emergency medicine focus. He has worked as a travel intensive care unit nurse, cardiac telemetry nurse, interim Director of Infection Control, Hospital Supervisor, and as an emergency department nurse practitioner. He maintains his clinical practice working at an urban emergency department in Nashville, Tennessee.
He is certified through the ANCC as both a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP). Judson is passionate about improving the ability of nurses to critically think within high stress environments and within the clinical setting.
