Bio

Dr. Angel Anthamatten is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of NP experience. She joined the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2010. Throughout her career, she has cultivated expertise in pharmacotherapeutics, diabetes management, and the care of chronic diseases. She coordinates the core Advanced Pharmacology course and FNP clinical courses and teaches in several FNP courses. She also serves as the primary clinical placement coordinator for students in Middle Tennessee. Dr. Anthamatten has authored several publications and has presented extensively regarding a variety of topics in clinical practice and nursing education.
