    Alumnus Stuart Downs receives nursing excellence leadership award

    Stuart Downs, DNP'13, MSN’10, was honored with Atlanta's Executive Nursing Leadership Excellence Award last month at the area's Celebrating Nurses luncheon. The award recognizes a chief nursing officer or chief nursing executive serving in an administrative capacity in a Metro Atlanta hospital who demonstrates advocacy, vision and collaboration to improve patient care and the nursing workplace. Previously chief nursing officer and vice president, Downs is now chief operating officer and vice president of WellStar Atlanta Medical Center. Read More
