The International Council of Nurses has launched a Call for Abstracts for the 14th NP/APN Network Conference taking place September 14-17, 2026, at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The global event is hosted by Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and endorsed by the American Nurses Association.
Abstracts for podium or poster presentations can be submitted from June 16, 2025, to October 1, 2025, and must fit into one of eight sub-themes within the conference’s larger theme, Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs): United for Global Impact, Innovation, and Care.
Nurses, health care professionals, educators and researchers are invited to submit abstracts that showcase practice innovation, evidence-based outcomes, advocacy in action, and forward-thinking education or leadership strategies. New to the conference, nursing faculty/student dyads are encouraged to submit in the student presentation track.
The eight sub-themes for the 14th NP/APN Network Conference are:
- Practice and Care Delivery—Transforming NP/APN Practice Models: Innovative Approaches to Care Delivery
- Education—Strengthening NP/APN Education: Advancing Curriculum and Training Structures
- Heath Policy and Advocacy—Advocacy in Action: Amplifying the Voice of NP/APNs for Equitable Healthcare
- Regulation—Regulation Frameworks for NP/APN Practice: Navigating the Evolving Landscape
- Research—Evidence-Based Impact: NP/APN Research Shaping Patient Outcomes and Practice
- Leadership—NP/APN Leadership in Healthcare: Driving Change and Inspiring the Profession
- Student Engagement—Engaging the Next Generation: Fostering Student Involvement in Global NP/APN Practice (Faculty/student dyads encouraged to submit)
- Technology—Leveraging Digital Health: Building Literacy and Competency for Practice in the Digital Era
Abstract applicants will be notified of acceptance by January 15, 2026. Registration for the conference will open January 1, 2026.
