Emergency Nurse Practitioner

If you are an experienced nurse who is ready to work in a fast-paced clinical setting and treat varying levels of acuity, the Emergency Nurse Practitioner specialty may be right for you. This is a dual focus Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specialty that prepares you as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner.

You will meet the growing need among emergency departments for skilled providers to treat children, adults and seniors with urgent primary care needs, critical illnesses, injuries or trauma.

This experience has given me so many new experiences and skills. Prior to starting, I had little experience suturing, much less experience with the more advanced skills we have learned. So, the largest impact on my practice is my expanded repertoire of skills. I'm grateful to have attended such a hands-on university."
