White Coat Ceremony for Master of Nursing Students 

The Vanderbilt School of Nursing will mark a historic milestone with its first-ever Master of Nursing White Coat Ceremony on August 20^th. The event celebrates the start of a newer tradition for VUSN.

Beyond its symbolic significance, the ceremony brings the cohort of students together in a shared moment of pride and purpose, cheered on by faculty, family and friends.

Rooted in the principles of patient-centered care, safety and ethical responsibility, the ceremony grounds students in the professional values that will guide their practice from the start. 

This event is closed to students only. Family and friends are encouraged to watch the livestream linked here. Following the ceremony, there will be a dessert reception in the Colleen Conway-Welch Atrium.
