National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN®)

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited pre-licensure component of the Master of Science in Nursing program, recognized by the Tennessee Board of Nursing, meets educational requirements to apply for the NCLEX-RN®.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Post-Master's Certificate program in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialty meets educational requirements to apply for ANCC and/or AANP FNP certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Post-Master's Certificate program in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP - lifespan) specialty meets educational requirements to apply for ANCC PMHNP certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing program, Post-Master's Certificate program, or the Bachelor of Science in Nursing to Doctorate of Nursing Practice (BSN to DNP) program in the Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP specialty meets educational requirements to apply for ANCC and/or ACCNS AGACNP certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Post-Master's Certificate program in the Adult Gerontology Primary Care NP (AGPCNP) specialty meets educational requirements to apply for AANP A-GNP  and/or ANCC AGPCNP certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing program, the Post-Master's Certificate program, or the Bachelor of Science in Nursing to Doctorate of Nursing Practice (BSN to DNP) program in the dual Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner specialties meet educational requirements to apply for ANCC FNPAANP FNP and/or ENP certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Post-Master's Certificate program in the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialty meets educational requirements to apply for NCC NNP certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Post-Master's Certificate program in the Nurse-Midwifery specialty meets educational requirements to apply for AMCB certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Post-Master's Certificate program in the Primary Care Pediatric NP specialty meets educational requirements to apply for PNCB CPNP-PC certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Post-Master's Certificate program in the Acute Care Pediatric NP specialty meets educational requirements to apply for PNCB CPNP-AC certification.

Completion of VUSN’s CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Post-Master's Certificate program in the Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner specialty meets educational requirements to apply for NCC WHGRNP-BC certification.
