Bio

Dr. Bigler was former associate dean of VUSN until 1991. She entered nurses training in 1947 in Walla Walla, Wash., as a nurse cadet and then enlisted in the naval reserve in 1948. She was called to active duty in 1951 and served in Guam. She received a master's degree from the University of Washington and a doctorate from Boston University.
