Upcoming Sessions

Together at last: Maximizing your synchronous time
Thursday, October 8, 2020
11:30 am - 1:00 pm POSTPONED: to be rescheduled

In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore approaches to making the most of the synchronous time we have with students. You’ll begin a week before our synchronous session, spending 2-3 hours total working asynchronously in Brightspace with colleagues to think through how you can prepare your students for time together. You’ll continue this exploration in a 90-minute synchronous Zoom workshop, during which we will use several pedagogical approaches to help us consider lessons learned about async prep and
identify key features of virtual and physical synchronous sessions.

Led by Cynthia J. Brame, Ph.D., Associate Director of the Vanderbilt University Center for Teaching and Senior Lecturer in Biological Sciences RSVP
