Laura Swann Craddock, MSN'02, is a nurse practitioner at Vanderbilt Digestive Disease Center in Nashville and Vanderbilt Hepatology, Hepatobiliary Surgery and Liver Transplant in Madison, Alabama (2020).

Travis Dunlap, MSN'02, received the VUSN Sara K. Archer Excellence in Teaching Award from students in the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specialty in August 2021. He co-authored a chapter on hepatitis C treatment in an e-book, Sexually Transmitted Infections, An Issue of Nursing Clinics, published by Elsevier Health Sciences in August 2020, and successfully defended his dissertation at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in April 2019. Travis was quoted in a July 2017 Memphis Daily News article about children playing football, and co-presented a poster at Vanderbilt University's Health Professions Education Research Day that October.

Norma Edwards, MSN'02, received the Patient Experience Award from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in November 2022.

Wakako Eklund, MSN'02, was inducted as a fellow by the American Academy of Nursing in October 2022.

Tammy Graham, MSN'02, spoke at her alma mater, Beaverton High School in Michigan, in April 2019, for its THINK Big Talk Series connecting students with alumni. She is a nurse practitioner in Saginaw at Covenant Healthcare Regional neonatal intensive care unit. 

Scott Grigg, MSN'02, is a nurse practitioner at Mercy's neonatal intensive care unit in Joplin, Missouri (2021).

Aimee Chism Holland, MSN'02, was named a Visionary Leader by the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing in April 2021, received the Nurse Practitioner Award for Excellence for Alabama from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in August, and was inducted as a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing that October. She presented "Office Gynecology Procedures," at the AANP conference in June 2019, and received the Alumni Award for Innovation in Health Care presented by the VUSN Alumni Association during the school's annual awards ceremony in October. She received the 2016 Rising Nurse Educator Award from the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties. Aimee is assistant dean for graduate clinical education in the UAB School of Nursing and past chair of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health.

Adriene Hughes, MSN'02, is a neonatal nurse practitioner at Mednax, Inc., in Middle Tennessee, treating neonates to six weeks of age in high-risk delivery and throughout their intensive care unit stay. She is also practicing in Houston, Texas, where she is the lead nurse practitioner in a level 2-3 setting (2018). 

Angela Jackson, MSN'02, is a family nurse practitioner at Saint Thomas Medical Partners in Nashville (2017).

Jinaki James, MSN'02, is a women's health nurse practitioner at El Centro de Corazon in Houston (2019).

Janet McLean Lowe, MSN'02, is a nurse practitioner at Middle Tennessee Emergency Physicians in Lafayette, where she specializes in emergency medicine and adult and pediatric emergency services (2022).

Elizabeth Warren Netsch, MSN'02, is a nurse practitioner at Faith Family Medical Center in Nashville (2020).

Julie Elam Otte, MSN'02, was inducted as a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing in October 2019. She is an associate professor at Indiana University School of Nursing in Indianapolis.

Rashida Pollion, MSN'02, was a nominee for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Nurses: The Heart of Health Care program in April 2018.

Caroline Portis-Jenkins, BS'97, MSN'02, was honored among Women of Influence by the Nashville Business Journal in November 2018. She is co-chief executive officer of Connectus Health.

Heather Lafever Potts, MSN'02, received the Patient Experience Award from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in November 2022, and an Excellence in Patient Experience Award from VUMC in October 2021.

Katie Nolan Rosenhagen, MSN'02, is a nurse practitioner in the office of Elizabeth LaRoche, MD, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and a CrossFit coach (2017).

Michelle Dillow Schramm, BS'99, MSN'02, joined the Johns Hopkins University Student Health and Wellness Center in Baltimore in December 2020 as a women's health nurse practitioner , and is featured in a National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health video, "Why Be a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner?" She was a women's health nurse practitioner at University Health Services in New Jersey, serving Princeton University students and their dependents, as well as faculty and staff.

Liz Sharpe, MSN'02, was inducted as a fellow into the American Academy of Nursing in October 2020, and re-elected in October 2016 as a director-at-large to the National Association of Neonatal Nurses board of directors. She is an associate professor and director of the neonatal nurse practitioner specialty at Ohio State University in Columbus.

Valerie Turpen, MSN'02, joined Deaconess Primary Care for Seniors in Evansville, Indiana, in May 2016 an acute care nurse practitioner

Traci Warner, MSN'02, is co-piloting a faith-based community health initiative in Nicaragua called Helping Hands. She trains lay people with some medical experience to meet the physical and spiritual needs of members of their community as an extension of a local church (2017).

Michelle Wilson, MSN'02, was interviewed in August 2016 by WPSD-TV about her role as a nurse practitioner at the Baptist Health clinic at Paducah Tilghman High School in Kentucky.
