Welcome to VUSN! Below you will find information for setting up your personal laptops, smartphones, and tablets for success within your program.

Before trying to set up any of your devices make sure you have set up DUO MFA as it is required for access to VU resources.

 

Setting up DUO MFA

1. Go to the MFA website
2. Click “Enroll Now”
3. Sign in and click “Start setup”
4. Select Mobile Phone and follow the prompts
5. Install the Duo Mobile application on your mobile phone
6. In your phone internet browser, click “I have Duo Mobile installed”
   • Click “Take me to Duo Mobile App”
   • You will receive a code in your DUO app – this verifies the successful installation of Duo
7. Go back to your browser, click “Dismiss and save your preferences”

 

On your laptop

1. Set up on campus WiFi 
2. Install and activate MS Office  
3. Install Google Chrome
4. Install Mozilla Firefox:
5. Install Microsoft Zoom
   
6. PreSpecialty and MSN students will need to purchase and install Remote Proctor

 

On your smartphone and tablet

1. Setup on campus WiFi 
2. Download Outlook from the App Store
