Geriatric nursing association honors VUSN’s Kim

Vanderbilt University School of Nursing’s Jennifer Kim, MSN, received the 2014 Excellence in Leadership award from the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association at the group’s recent national conference in Orlando, Florida.

VUSN seminar series offers tips on caring for elderly loved ones

Vanderbilt University Nursing School recently kicked off a four-part summer series dedicated to providing much-needed tips on caring for elderly loved ones. The series, “Caring for Your Aging Parents,” is free and is designed to address key elements such as safety concerns, medicine issues, understanding dementia, legal protections and other issues.
