Microsoft Edge: Clearing Your Browser’s Cache

This article will demonstrate how to clear the Microsoft Edge 12 browser’s cache.

Step 1

Once you have opened the Edge web browser application click the ellipses icon (More actions) located in the upper right-hand location of your web browser:

Step 2

This will open a drop-down menu. Select the Settings option at the bottom:

Step 3

You will then see the “Settings” pop-up window. Scroll down the options until you get to the “Clear Browser data” item and then click the Choose what to clear button:

Step 4

You will then see this window. Do the following steps:

  1. Select the Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files checkbox options
  2. Click the Clear button below

Step 5

You will see a quick progress update and then the following statement All clear!:

Step 6

You can click anywhere to resume browsing or restart your browser.
