The purpose of this article is to explain how to reply to a discussion board thread in the Brightspace Discussions tool.

Step 1

Navigate to the Discussions tool

1. Click Discussions
2. Click Discussions

Step 2

Click on the topic link containing the thread you would like to respond to

Step 3

Click the title of the thread you want to reply to

1. Click the title of the thread
2. Click Subscribe if you want to be notified when someone posts a response (optional)
3. Select desired notification method

Step 4

Click Reply to Thread

Step 5

Enter your reply

1. Type response
2. Click Post
