The purpose of this article is to explain how to create a thread in the Brightspace Discussions tool.

Step 1

Navigate to the Discussions tool

1. Click Discussions
2. Click Discussions

Step 2

Click on the name of the topic in which you would like to start a new thread

Step 3

Click Start a New Thread

Step 4

Enter thread content

1. Enter a subject
2. Enter the content of your post
3. Select to Pin thread or Subscribe to this thread (optional)
4. Add attachments (optional)
5. Click Post
