This article demonstrates how to clear your Google Chrome web browser’s cache in both Windows and Mac OS desktop app. (Chrome v.56 shown)

Step 1

Once you have opened the Chrome web browser application click the ellipses icon (More menu) located in the upper right-hand location of your web browser:

Point to More tools, and then click Clear browsing data menu item.

Step 3

1. In the “Clear browsing data” box, click the checkboxes for Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files
2. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose beginning of time to delete everything.
3. Click Clear browsing data button.
